Delivery Options & Timelines 

Doorstep Delivery: Medkart allows you to upload your orders online to have medicines delivered directly to your National Drug Authority approved premises.

Store Pickup: You can choose to collect your order from a nearby store instead of delivery.

Timeline: Standard delivery generally takes 1–7 working days, while upcountry or specialized shipments may take 3 – 6 business days. 

Shipping Costs & Payment

Free Shipping: Medkart offers free shipping on selected orders only up to promotional periods.

Cash on Delivery (COD):  COD is not acceptable for online or app-based orders, strictly on Merchant Account or Deposit in Bank.

Upcountry Shipping: Shipping medicines any locations (Out of Kampala) involves weight-based charges. For example, per 1 kg typically costs approximately UGX 15,000. 

Handling & Special Requirements

Cold Chain Logistics: Temperature-sensitive medicines (2-8°C) are shipped via specialized refrigerated transport or air cargo to maintain efficacy.

Damages/Shortages: You must report any shortages, defects, or damaged packaging in writing within 3 days of receipt.

Cancellations & Returns

Cancellations: Allowed only before the order has been dispatched or shipped.

Return Window: Most items must be returned within 3–7 days of receipt in their original, unused packaging.
